Leon Poulsen Construction is contracted with a third party Safety Company to assist us in OSHA compliance, to provide specialized training to new and seasoned employees and to help grow our safety culture.
The Safety Team visits our job sites and assists our Superintendents and Foremen in identification of OSHA violations and unsafe actions and conditions so they can be immediately corrected.
Every employee at Leon Poulsen Construction has a Stop Work Authority and that message is reinforced weekly as employees attend weekly safety meetings on specific and seasonal safety topics as well as semi-annual Company-wide safety meetings. In 2021 an employee safety reward program was instituted.
